Introduction: In January 2019, a 13-year-old female patient, M.H., presented with symptoms of scoliosis. The initial diagnosis revealed an S-curve of 54 degrees on the top right and 33 degrees on the bottom left curve of her hip. The symptoms included uneven shoulders, a posture leaning to one side, and a straight neck.
Treatment: The treatment plan for M.H. included a 2-week intensive care treatment, disc hydration treatment, neck c-curve restoration treatment, neck and spinal traction therapy, and dormant muscle activation treatment. Alongside these treatments, M.H. was advised to perform core strengthening and posture correction exercises. Additionally, an order-made corset was recommended for her.
Outcome: After the treatment, a significant reduction in the curvature of M.H.’s hip was observed. The top right curve reduced to 39 degrees and the bottom left curve reduced to 19 degrees.
Conclusion : The marked improvement observed in M.H.’s condition can be directly attributed to the comprehensive treatment plan that was tailored to her specific needs.
